Santiago & Easter Island Tour - Itinerary
Day 1 – Bucharest – Santiago de Chile
• Flight: Bucharest → Santiago de Chile
Upon arrival in Santiago, you will be welcomed and transferred to Plaza San Francisco Hotel 5*, where you will spend the next 3 nights.
The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the city at your own pace.

Day 2 – Santiago de Chile
After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll join “The Best Walking Tour in Santiago de Chile” – a guided walking tour through the historic center of the Chilean capital.
You’ll discover iconic buildings, lively squares, and gain a deeper understanding of the city’s multicultural identity.

Day 3 – Santiago de Chile – Pacific Coast
Today you’ll embark on a full-day tour to the Pacific Coast, with visits to Valparaíso, the colorful port city famous for its street art, and Viña del Mar, the most popular seaside resort in Chile.
The tour also includes a stop at a vineyard in the Casablanca Valley, renowned for its crisp white wines.

Day 4 – Santiago – Easter Island
• Flight: Santiago → Easter Island
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Easter Island.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Hotel Uka Mana in Hanga Roa, where you’ll stay for 3 nights.
The rest of the day is free to unwind and begin exploring this mysterious island in the heart of the Pacific.

Day 5 – Easter Island: Orongo & Rano Kau
After breakfast, take a guided tour to the ceremonial village of Orongo and the Rano Kau Volcano.
You’ll visit the Vinapu site, where the stonework resembles Inca architecture, and walk along the rim of the impressive Rano Kau crater.
The tour continues to Orongo, the ceremonial center of the ancient birdman cult, where you’ll hear legends of the god Makemake.

Day 6 – Easter Island: Moai Trail
Today’s excursion is dedicated to the island’s iconic moai statues.
You’ll visit Ahu Akivi, where seven moai face the ocean — believed to represent the seven explorers who first discovered the island.
The tour also includes the Puna Pau quarry, where the red stone "pukao" (topknots) were carved, and ends at the Tahai ceremonial complex overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Day 7 – Easter Island – Santiago de Chile
• Flight: Easter Island → Santiago de Chile
After breakfast, transfer to Mataveri Airport for your return flight to Santiago.
Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred once again to Plaza San Francisco Hotel for your final night.
Free time for last-minute shopping or relaxation.

Day 8 – Santiago de Chile – Bucharest
• Flight: Santiago → Bucharest
After breakfast, transfer to Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport for your flight back to Bucharest.
